Every June, around International Picnic Day

Picnic Week

Saturday 12 to Sunday 20 June 2027

Nine days, two weekends and the best excuse of the year to eat outside.

Why nine days?

Most of us picnic at the weekend, so the week runs across two of them. It also takes in International Picnic Day on 18 June and Father’s Day on Sunday 20 June.

Picnic Week started in the UK in 2010 and is built around International Picnic Day. Wherever you are, pack a blanket and join in.

In the United States, July is also National Picnic Month, so June makes a good start to the season.
